Художник сценограф. Завършил специалност „Сценография“ при проф. Иван Пенков във ВИИИ „Николай Павлович“ (днес НХА) през 1958 г. Членувал в секция „Сценография“ на СБХ от 1972 г.

1975 PhD inh Art Sciences graduated from the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS)

1984 II Degree State Award "St. Cyril and Methodius" for Artistic and Scientific achievements.


Two monographs: Samokov's Embroidery (1982) and Decorative Weaving at Home (1988) and more than 130 popular publications revealing problems of contemporary Bulgarian art and traditional folklore art.
