Nikolay Buzov manipulates space and scale. He juxtaposes colorful volumes and geometric figures, plays on reflection and depth, on the illusion of three-dimensionality of his objects. In his paintings, light is a part and parcel of the formation of complete images, quite like the magic of a typical kaleidoscope.
