Born on 28th May 1948, Iliya Ivanov is a renowned Bulgarian sculptor specialising in bronze as a preferred medium. His works range from small unique gift pieces to large monuments, some of which have been donated to schools and charitable causes, as well as art installations created on site as part of international sculpture symposiums.

Iliya graduated from the College of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1967 and subsequently the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1973 with honours in Sculpture.
