Radoslav Neichevʼs Danube landscape paintings would be better described as states of mind and perceptions of environs than as concrete representations. Symbiosis of instant impression and emotion. The final effect is derived from the layering of formal and conceptual elements. The works invoke a dual narrative, both familiar and imagined.
