The publication is the result of Anton Staykovʼs and Svoboda Cekovaʼs exceptional efforts and knowledge, presenting on 140 pages some newly discovered facts and first-hand accounts on the art and times of Boris Denev and his daughter, Slavka. Numbers “rule” in the text as if to suggest that “Time is neither a field to be measured in notches, nor a sea to be measured in miles; it is a pulse”. A Pulse, which, in the Beyond Paintingsproject, has been measured quite impressively.
