Rayko Alexiev Gallery, UBA, Sofia
Julian Tabakov immerses his viewers into the shocking picture of a nature that is dying because of human interference. The first section of the exhibition transfers you into two connected rooms: the armchair and shotgun of a hunter against his collection of trophies – heads of killed animals with beautiful antlers and horns, a few human sculls among them. The other section is separated by a curtain and the black walls beyond are hidden behind huge photographs of wildfires on Vitosha mountain.
